Join the Fun
Imagine your business, club or friends competing in WNYs
only chachallenge on the water. This is a great team building event for people of all ages, physical abilities and skill levels. No experience is required! Dont miss the chance to get in on the fastest growing water sport in the world and great fun!
Compete in Outrigger Canoes
Seven person teams paddle in double hull canoes
(Two outrigger canoes attached catamaran-style for extra stability). Teams will paddle in two timed 250 meter sprints.
Team Divisions include, Mens, Womens, Breast Cancer Survivor,
Mixed (three paddlers must be female) and Youth (10 - 18 with parental permission). Teams must pre-register by June 04, 2010.

The Hope Chest Team
Proceeds from this event benefit the Hope Chest Programs through Luminina, a not-for-profit agency. The Hope Chest depends on the generosity of
the community to keep its floating support group and exercise programs growing
to meet the needs of survivors in the WNY area. Our goal is to expand our exercise
programs, continue to raise breast cancer awareness and promote an
active lifestyle after diagnosis!
Luminina Corporation
Luminina Corporation is the not-for-profit organization that proudly sponsors the Hope Chest Breast Cancer Programs. The Hope Chest provides a free exercise program and the opportunity to be a part of a Dragon Boat team which competes world-wide. The Dragon Boating experience has been described as a floating support group for survivors. The Hope Chest Dragon Boat Team is the fourth breast cancer survivor team in the U.S and the only team in New York State.
